I’m excited about Black Earth Rising (Friday), a BBC drama about a survivor of the Rwandan genocide who becomes a human rights attorney and ends up working on a case involving an African militia leader. For whatever reason, John Goodman is in it, which is weird for a British show but I’m not complaining.
